i am now 27 years old. i don't feel old, but 27 sounds old. i think this is a good age to stop getting older. i wonder if people would notice if i just say im 27 from now on? i guess i could try it.

it is nice being a teacher on your birthday. i got so many wonderful gifts from my class. they are sweet little ones. i did get a good laugh out of all the names i was called in birthday cards. of course, this was from the parents, not the kids. i made a list:

Mrs. Feeve
Mrs. Frick
Mrs. Fear
Mrs. Fierce
Mrs. Freerer
Mrs. Fircce
Mrs. Feeree

Some of them were pretty close to my actual name, but Feeve and Frick? Seriously? At least I had something to laugh at all day.
